Two seats on the Porter Ranch Neighborhood Council were vacated at the September meeting. Any stakeholder interested in applying for the seat should submit a letter expressing their interest and qualifications to both the Secretary at PatrickPope [at] PRNC.org and Vice President at RichardRippey [at] PRNC.org by Friday, September 25 at 5pm.
Applicants should plan to attend the Tuesday, October 1 meeting where their application will be considered. Applicants should be stakeholders of Porter Ranch, which includes those who live, work, or own property in the neighborhood and also to those who declare a stake in the neighborhood and affirm the factual basis for it.
Board members are expected to attend monthly meetings on the first Tuesday of the month. periodically meetings are held on the second Tuesday or other dates as necessary. Board members champion issues of importance to Porter Ranch to bring real results, interfacing with stakeholders, the City Councilmember office and City Departments.
