During its November 2016 meeting, the PRNC Board adopted a Position on the Aliso Canyon Gas Facility that was detailed in a letter to Governor Jerry Brown. A number of State and local regulatory agencies were also copied on the letter, as well as many of our elected officials.
In this 5-page letter, the Board describes in detail how Porter Ranch views the Facility and its future in the community, and reaches the conclusion that the facility is not safe to operate, is a threat to public health, and is not as critical to the reliability of the Southern California energy supply as some claim.
