Community Survey of Perceived Environmental Risks and Needs
Monday, July 25, 2016
People’s perception of their environment and associated risks can be affected by experience with natural disasters, or exposures with the potential to affect health. CSUN’s Institute for Sustainability is conducting a research on the effect of the Aliso Canyon gas blowout on the environmental and health concerns of Porter Ranch residents.
Objective: Develop a needs assessment which will inform the recommendation of resources to mitigate resident’s concerns.
The survey can be submitted through individual online surveys https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CSUNPorterRanchRiskPerception, or in person surveys which can be completed during neighborhood meetings and community gatherings by CSUN’s Institute for Sustainability researchers.
