Are you interested in Community Policing?  Enroll in the LAPD Operations-Valley Bureau (OVB) Community Police Academy.  FREE classes begin September 18, 2019 (6 to 9 PM) and continue for 8 consecutive weeks.  These classes are held at the LAPD Edward Davis Training Facility located at 12001 Blucher Avenue in Granada Hills.  Take an inside look at the LAPD and various facets of law enforcement.  During these classes, students will be introduced to police operations such as Traffic Enforcement, Special Weapons and Tactics, Terrorism Awareness, Human Trafficking, and Communications Division.  

For Community members living in the Devonshire Division area, please fill out and send the Student Information form at the link below and send it to SLO Dario DelCore at 27286 [at] lapd.online as soon as possible since space is limited and tends to fill up quickly.

The Porter Ranch Neighborhood Council is an organization that is officially certified by the City of Los Angeles to increase our influence with City lawmakers and departments to improve our community.

The PRNC came about as a result of Los Angeles City Charter Reform and interested stakeholders in our community. The Board is elected by stakeholders and holds monthly meetings, usually on the first Wednesday of the month. The agenda is emailed to those who subscribe (see the green box in the upper corner), on our website here and posted at 11280 Corbin Avenue, Northridge, CA 91326 on a bulletin board facing Corbin street.

The Board is comprised of volunteers who want to help you make Porter Ranch a better place to live, work and grow. We can't do it for you, but we can do it with you.
