The Beautification Committee has been hard at work to clean up the streets of Porter Ranch. In the eastern part of Porter Ranch, where an HOA is not responsible for the major streets, tree wells have been overgrown and the streets and sidewalks are littered with leaves, pine needles and debris.
The committee organized an Earth Day Celebration April 2017 which focused on cleaning up the top of Wilbur where it meets Tampa. While great progress was made, it is hard to make a dent in the amount of needed clean up of our many boulevards. The committee's next step was to shepherd a motion to hire a contractor for about $3,000 to clean the tree wells. With Board approval, the work was completed at the end of June and the Beautification Committee coordinated with Street Services who came out and swept the streets. As as result Tampa, Sesnon, Reseda and Wilbur all look clean and sparkling.
The Beautification Committee invites you to enjoy our streets, take pride in our community and join them at their next meeting on the 4th Tuesday of the month. Please see our calendar for details.
